WE ARE SUNSEEKER COFFEE
Hi, we’re Whitney & Will: the husband and wife team behind Sunseeker Coffee.
Here’s a little story on how Sunseeker came to be! Long story, short(ish)
The year 2020 changed everything for us, as it did a lot of people. I (Whitney) lost my job as a Corporate Meeting & Event planner, as most meetings, events and travel were cancelled due to the pandemic. Event planning is where my obsession of little food trucks, trailers and carts came from. They bring a little something fun and unique to your party & event.
While unemployed some friends of ours offered to pay me to make them cookies. This would eventually snowball into my own little in home cookie business.
During that same time Will and I made an effort to visit a new local coffee shop each weekend to try and help them survive the pandemic. This turned into something that we LOVED to do together and looked forward to every weekend. We’d share where we went & what we ordered on social media. Friends would jokingly ask us when we were going to start our own coffee shop and sell cookies!
That turned into us having conversations while sipping coffee saying “how cool would it be to have a little coffee shop & sell treats”
A light bulb went off for me, maybe not a shop but a trailer!? How cool would it be to be mobile, serve coffee, treats & a little sunshine in a new place whenever we felt like it.
I spoke the idea out loud to Will & our families thinking they might think the idea was silly, and I received quite the opposite response. After chatting with our families, My Father-in-law who we lovingly refer to as our CRO (Chief Renovations Officer) offered to help us transform the trailer once we found what we were searching for. That was the final push I needed. I’d start looking for the perfect trailer.
June of 2023 we found & purchased Sunny (our trailer) from a post on Facebook market place and we got to work! Hopefully, you’ve been following along on our Instagram watching Sunny transform.
Our goal is to bring a little joy to your day by serving you a delicious cup of coffee and maybe a little treat.
Life can be hard, but coffee helps, especially when it’s served with a little Sunshine
